With this aim in mind, DET was formed. It works under the Department of Skills Development and Training, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has been established by the Government of AP to coordinate and synergize skilling efforts across all departments. Under this, APSSDC is formed. Andhra Pradesh will require approximately 10 million Skilled workers across the high-priority and emerging sectors between 2025 and 2030.
