Education Qualification

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set as per UGC Regulations 2018. The key qualifications include:

• Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian or accredited Foreign University. A relaxation of 5% (i.e., 50% marks) is allowed for SC/ST candidates.

• National Eligibility Test (NET): Candidates must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.

• Ph.D. Exemption: Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009/2016) or obtained from a top 500 foreign university are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level-10. The salary scale ranges from Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400/- per month, along with other admissible allowances for Group-“A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts.

Age Limit

The age criteria for candidates as of the notification date are as follows:

• General Candidates: Up to 30 years.

• SC/ST Candidates: Up to 35 years (5 years relaxation).
