Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2026: Education & Experience Requirements (As on 01-11-2026)

Candidates must ensure they meet the specific educational and post-qualification experience requirements for the position they apply for. All candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India/Govt. Bodies/AICTE.

• Group Head: Assistant Vice President II: Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth Management/Investment Advisory/Portfolio Management, out of which a minimum of 5 years must be as a Team Lead for Relationship Managers. Mandatory Certifications: NISM V A, NISM V D, IRDA IC38, NISM XIII, and NISM-Series-XXI-A.

• Head Investment: Assistant Vice President II: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Direct investment-related roles, out of which a minimum of 5 years must be in a Senior leadership role (Handling Mutual Funds, SIF, AIF, PMS, Research and Advisory, etc.). Mandatory Certifications: Any of NISM V A/ NISM V D/NISM XIII/NISM Series XX-I-A.

• Territory Head: Assistant Vice President I: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth Management/Investment Advisory/Portfolio Management. Mandatory Certifications: NISM V A, NISM V D, IRDA IC38, NISM XIII, and NISM Series-XXI-A.

• Investment Product Manager: Assistant Vice President I: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager, out of which a minimum of 3 years must be as an Investment Counsellor in Wealth Management. Mandatory Certifications: Any of NISM V A/ NISM V D/NISM XIII/NISM Series XX-I-A.

• Senior Relationship Manager: Deputy Manager: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Relationship Manager in Wealth Management/Investment Advisory/Portfolio Management. Mandatory Certifications: NISM VA / NISM V D and/or IRDA IC38.

(Note: Experience in the clerical cadre or teaching/training experience will not be considered.)

Age Limit (As on 01-11-2026)

• Group Head & Head Investment (AVP II): Minimum 35 years, Maximum 50 years.
• Territory Head (AVP I): Minimum 28 years, Maximum 42 years.
• Investment Product Manager (AVP I): Minimum 26 years, Maximum 45 years.
• Senior Relationship Manager (Deputy Manager): Minimum 24 years, Maximum 35 years.

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
• Persons with Disability: Gen/EWS-10 years, OBC-13 years, SC/ST-15 years.

Contract Terms & Salary

The engagement is on a contractual basis for an initial period of 5 years. This may be renewed for a maximum additional period of 5 years at the Bank’s discretion, subject to satisfactory performance, up to a maximum age of 60 years. Remuneration will be offered based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, overall suitability, last drawn salary, and market benchmarks.

Selection Process

The selection process may involve application scrutiny, an online test, and/or a psychometric test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI). The Bank reserves the right to call a requisite number of candidates for the interview based on their suitability. The minimum qualifying marks in the Personal Interview are 60% for General and EWS candidates, and 55% for reserved category candidates.
