Eligibility Criteria (as of 01.11.2025)
Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for Credit Officer posts in Bank of India:
- Minimum Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- SMGS‑IV: Graduate + 8 years relevant experience.
- MMGS‑III: Graduate + 5 years relevant experience.
- MMGS‑II: Graduate + 3 years relevant experience.
These requirements apply to the respective scales of Credit Officers.
Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age requirements vary by scale as of November 1, 2025:
- Credit Officer (SMGS-IV): 30 to 40 years.
- Credit Officer (MMGS-III): 28 to 38 years.

Selection Process
The selection procedure may involve two main stages depending on the number of applicants:
- Online Examination: A 150-minute objective test covering English Language (qualifying only), Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge.
- Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify for the online test (or are shortlisted directly if no test is held) will be called for a 100-mark interview.
- Weightage: If both stages are held, the ratio of Online Exam to Interview is 70:30.
