Education Details
Applicants must have passed their Class 10 (SSC) board exams with Science and Mathematics as core subjects. Furthermore, possessing a valid ITI certificate in the respective trade from an NCVT or SCVT recognized institution is mandatory to be eligible for this training program.
Salary
The monthly stipend for selected ITI apprentices varies based on their specific technical trade:
₹18,574 per month for trades such as Welder, Carpenter, and Material Handling Equipment Mechanic.
₹20,896 per month for trades including Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Turner, Painter, and Refrigeration & AC Mechanic.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed a minimum of 18 years of age. The maximum age limit is governed by standard Government of India apprenticeship regulations, which include age relaxation provisions for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories.
Selection Process
BARC will select candidates purely on a merit basis, meaning there are no written tests or personal interviews. The recruitment authority will generate a final merit list based on the aggregate marks secured by candidates in their 10th standard and ITI trade courses.
