Bihar B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET-BED)-2026: The Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 Notification has been released for the Academic year 2026-27 on the official Website at biharcetbed-lnmu.in. The Online application window opens on April 27, 2026, and remains open until the last date, May 18, 2026. As per the Schedule, the Bihar B.Ed CET Exam 2026, scheduled to be held on June 7, 2026. 

दो वर्षीय बी०एड० एवं शिक्षा शास्त्री सत्र 2026-27 हेतु नामांकन के इक्छुक अभ्यर्थियों से संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा 2026 (CET-B.Ed. & Shiksha Shastri-2026) में सम्मिलित होने के लिए एतद द्वारा आवेदन आमंत्रित किये जाते हैं। ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रपत्र www.biharcetbed-Inmu.in के माध्यम से भरा जा सकता है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रपत्र जमा करने की तिथि 27.04.2026 से 18.05.2026 तक निर्धारित है। इससे संबंधित अर्हता, निर्देश, ऑनलाइन प्रक्रिया एवं विवरणिका उपर्युक्त वेबसाइट पर देखा जा सकता है।

The Nalanda Open University, Patna, will conduct the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test on June 7, 2026. सूचनीय है कि बिहार राज्यपाल सचिवालय, पटना द्वारा पारित Statute for Conducting Combined Entrance Test for B.Ed. Colleges affiliated to State Universities of Bihar के अनुसार Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 (amended upto date), Patna University Act 1976, Nalanda Open University Act, 1995 एवं Aryabhatta Knowledge University Act, 2008 के अंतर्गत अंगीभूत/संबंधता प्राप्त तथा NCTE से मान्यता प्राप्त सभी बी०एड० एवं शिक्षा शास्त्री कॉलेजों में नामांकन, संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा में सफल अभ्यर्थियों का काउंसलिंग के आधार पर ही किया जाना है।

Bihar CET-B.Ed 2026 Summary

Candidates interested in the B.Ed Common Entrance Test can fill out the application forms offline or online from the concerned university. Through this Entrance exam Admission into B.Ed. and Shiksha Shastri Program
(All Universities of Bihar running B.Ed. Course) will be carried out.  For CET-B.Ed.-2026, the Application is to be filled out online. Candidates are requested to go through the instructions given in this prospectus and on the website www.biharcetbed-lnmu.in.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) and/or in the Master’s
Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in the admission test for the Two-year B.Ed. Programme (CET-B.Ed.) Minimum qualification to appear in the examination of Shiksha Shastri admission :

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to appear in the admission test for the Shiksha Shastri programme. Shastri B.A. (Including Sanskrit Subject) with minimum 50% marks by recognized University or institution with two-year course, Acharya (First Year) MA (Sanskrit) must pass examination (bridge Course) for first year. In percentage determination, Acharya First Year or MA first year marks will not be helpful.

Bihar CET-B.Ed 2026 Minimum Qualifying Marks

• For Candidates of Unreserved Category: 35% correspondingly 42 marks
• For SC, ST, BC, EBC, WBC, EWS and Divyaang Category Candidates: 30% correspondingly 36 marks

Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 Application fee

• Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand) for General/unreserved candidates.
• Rs. 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty) for differently-abled/EBC/BC/Women/EWS.
• Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) for the SC/ST category candidates.

The Fee is to be paid through an online payment gateway only. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance(s).

Bihar CET- B.Ed 2026 How to apply

The application will be completed in the following steps :
First Step: Online Registration of the Applicant. In this step Login ID will be created. You have to upload Photo & Signature at in size
Second Step: Completing up the Application Form. Fill all enteries with atmost care in this stage, particularly gender, domicile and category.
Third Step: Online payment of CET Fee and taking Print out of the Completed Application Form.

Candidates are required to keep in their safe custody the original printout/photocopy of application form for future reference.
Before filling up the online application from for Two Year B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed .- 2026) candidate must ensure their eligibility, going through the relevant portion of the Instructions available on the website: www.biharcetbed-Inmu.in.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2026 Exam Pattern

CET-B.Ed .- 2026 shall be of two hours duration. Candidates have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions. Each question shall have four expected answers of which they have to select the most appropriate answer and mark them on the OMR sheet provided along with the Question Booklet.
Candidate must use blue/black ball pen only to mark the answer on the OMR sheet.
The Question Booklet shall have 120 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The maximum marks allotted to the Entrance Test is 120. OMR Sheet/Answer Sheet shall be provided for answering the questions.
