Personal Assistant (PA)	Graduate from a recognized university. Hindi stenography speed of 100 w.p.m., typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Hindi/English. A computer certificate or ‘O’ level certification is desirable.
Data Entry Operator (DEO)	Intermediate (10+2). Typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour. A computer certificate or ‘O’ level certification is desirable.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)	Intermediate (10+2). Typing speed in Hindi/English at 30 w.p.m. A computer certificate or ‘O’ level certification is desirable.

Pay Scale

The pay scale differs by post as per Bihar pay matrix norms:

PA: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Level-07)
Stenographer / DEO: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-04)
LDC: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-02)

Age Limit

DEO & LDC: Minimum 18 years.
PA & Stenographer: Minimum 21 years.
Maximum Age (General / EWS, Male): 37 years.
Maximum Age (General / EWS, Female; BC/EBC all genders): 40 years.
SC / ST (all genders): Up to 42 years.
