1. Calicut University Four-Year UG Programme (CUFYUGP)
The undergraduate curriculum offers flexible pathways, enabling students to tailor their academic timeline according to their career goals:
3-Year UG Degree: Awarded in the respective Major discipline after successful completion of a minimum of 133 credits.
4-Year UG Degree (Honours): Awarded upon earning a total of 177 credits, which includes an optional graduate project/dissertation (8 credits) or two additional courses in the Major discipline.
4-Year UG Degree (Honours with Research): Tailored for students aiming for a research career, requiring 177 credits, including a mandatory graduate research project/dissertation (12 credits) in the fourth year.
2. Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Programmes
Aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), these courses bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry-relevant skills. They feature multiple exit options:
After 2 Semesters: Undergraduate Certificate (NSQF Level 4.5)
After 4 Semesters: Undergraduate Diploma (NSQF Level 5.0)
After 6 Semesters: B.Voc. Degree (NSQF Level 5.5)
After 8 Semesters: PG Diploma or Honours Degree (NSQF Level 6.0)

The application processing fee can be remitted seamlessly through the integrated e-payment gateway (State Bank online, Akshaya Kendras, Friends Janasevana Kendram, or college Nodal Centers):

Step-by-Step Online Application Process
Note: Candidates can submit only one online application but can select a maximum of 20 program options across institutions on a priority basis.
CAP ID Generation: Visit the official admission portal at admission.uoc.ac.in. Provide your accurate mobile number and email ID to receive your unique CAP ID and password via OTP.
Student Profile Completion: Login and enter your basic details, qualification stream, and select your eligible reservation or weightage criteria (like NSS, NCC, or SPC). Upload a passport-size photograph in
.jpgformat.Qualification & Marks Entry: Key in your qualifying examination marks carefully. Discrepancies in the marks can lead to rejection or denial of admission later.
College & Programme Selection: Choose your preferred combination of colleges and majors. Ensure you specify options for Community Quota seats at this stage if applicable.
Fee Payment & Printout: Proceed to the payment gateway to pay the registration fee. After successful confirmation, log back into the portal to download and print your completed application form.

During physical verification at the allocated college, selected candidates must produce the following original documents:
- Printout of the online CAP application form
- Allotment Admit Card
- Receipt/Challan of the University mandatory fee
- Age proof document (S.S.L.C. Certificate)
- Qualifying examination certificate and mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended
- Relevant claim certificates (Non-Creamy Layer, EWS, Community, Nativity, or Sports/PwD certificates)
