Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a First Class Diploma in the relevant engineering branch (3 years duration) or a First Class B.Sc. in a related subject with relevant experience as specified in the official notification.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years. Age relaxations will be provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and departmental candidates as per Government of India and CSIR rules.
Salary and Benefits
The posts fall under Pay Level-6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix.
- Pay Scale: Rs 35,400 – 1,12,400.
- Total Emoluments: Including DA, HRA, and TA, the starting gross salary is approximately Rs 65,000+ per month (depending on the city of posting).

Selection Process
The selection will be based on a two-step process:
- Trade Test: Candidates will first have to pass a Trade Test in their respective subject.
- Competitive Written Examination: Only those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for the written exam. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the written test.
