Delhi Police Driver Exam Details and Marking Scheme
The Delhi Police Driver CBT (Computer-Based Test) was designed to test the technical and general aptitude of candidates. The paper consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed in 90 minutes.
General Awareness: 20 Questions (20 Marks)
General Intelligence (Reasoning): 20 Questions (20 Marks)
Numerical Ability: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
Road Sense, Vehicle Maintenance & Traffic Rules: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response. Candidates are advised to use the formula: (Correct Answers × 1) – (Incorrect Answers × 0.25) to estimate their score.
Expected Cut-Off Marks 2025
Based on initial student feedback and the moderate difficulty level of the 2025 exam, the expected cut-off marks for the PE&MT stage are listed below. Please note that these are estimates and the final cut-off will be released by SSC along with the result.

Objection Process for Provisional Answer Key
After the tentative answer key is released, SSC provides a window (usually 3 to 5 days) for candidates to challenge any discrepancies.
Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹100 per question challenged.
Evidence: Valid supporting documents or references must be uploaded to justify the objection.
Review: Subject experts will review the representations. If found valid, a Final Answer Key will be released, which cannot be further challenged.

- Visit the official SSC portal at ssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Answer Key” tab on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled “Uploading of Tentative Answer Key – Delhi Police Driver Exam 2025.”
- A login window will appear. Enter your Roll Number and Password (as mentioned on your admit card).
- Click on the “Generate” or “Download” button to view your response sheet.
- Save the PDF and print it for future reference.
What’s Next After the Answer Key?
Once the objection window closes and the final answer key is published, SSC will declare the written exam results. Shortlisted candidates (roughly 15 times the vacancies) will be called for:
PE&MT: Running (1600m), Long Jump, and High Jump based on age-wise standards.
Driving/Trade Test: A qualifying test where candidates must demonstrate proficiency in driving heavy vehicles, parking, and vehicle maintenance.
Document Verification & Medical Exam: The final stage before inclusion in the merit list.
