Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be eligible in terms of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. as per Recruitment Rules notified by the User Department for the post in which he/she intends to apply.
- The educational qualification, age, experience etc. as stipulated in advertisement shall be determined as on 16/10/2025.
Educational Qualification
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations – 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board.
OR
Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary level.
Salary
The selected candidates will be placed with the following salary structure:
35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level – 6), Group: ‘B’ (General Central Service, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)

Application Fee

- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD. & Ex- serviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee.
- Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil side under Central Government
- /Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous /Local Bodies on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fee concession.
- The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e- pay. Other mode of payment shall not be accepted/considered and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
- Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:
Tier-I Examination: An online computer-based test comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to assess the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the Tier-I examination will be called for document verification.
Final Selection: Based on the performance in the Tier-I examination and document verification.

How to Apply
Before submitting online applications, candidate must ensure that he/she is registered on DSSSB’s portal i.e. https://dsssbonline.nic.in. The instructions for Registration are available on the Board’s website. Registration with DSSSB is a onetime exercise. The user ID and password generated after registration should be used to log in whenever a candidate is applying for examinations of the posts notified by DSSSB. No separate registration is required for each of examination conducted by DSSSB. If an applicant submits multiple registrations and appears in the examination (at any stage) more than once, his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will be debarred from the examinations of the Board.
