ECGC PO Selection Process 2025
Online Examination (Objective Test) – evaluates candidates’ aptitude and knowledge.
Descriptive Paper – tests written communication skills through essay and précis writing.
Interview Round – conducted for shortlisted candidates to assess personality and professional aptitude.
- Candidates shortlisted in the Online Examination will subsequently be called for an interview to be conducted by the Company in Mumbai.
- The total marks allocated for the interview are 60.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the interview should not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD candidates).
- The weightage (ratio) of Online Examination and interview shall be 80:20 respectively.
- The combined final marks of the candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination and Interview.
- A candidate should have to qualify both in the Online Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for further selection process, details
of which will be made available subsequently on the Company’s website. - While attending the interview, the candidate should furnish valid prescribed documents. In the absence of documents candidature of the candidates shall be canceled. The company takes no responsibility to receive/ collect any certificate/ remittance/ document sent separately.
ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2025
An online screening examination consisting of two papers (Multiple-Choice questions of 200 marks followed by a Descriptive Paper of 40 marks) will be held. The structure of the examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:
