EdCIL Recruitment 2024 Out, Apply Online for 50 Various Posts

EdCIL (India) Limited on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, invites online
applications from Indian TGT and PGT teacher trainers to train the teachers of schools in Sri Lanka in
the following subjects:
• English,
• Mathematics,
• Biology,
• Physics, and
• Chemistry

This is a contractual requirement for tentatively 50 teacher trainers, and the tenure of posting to Sri Lanka shall be for about 3 months (90 days) from 1st July 2024 to 30th Sept 2024. Dates are indicative and may change as per requirements at the time of signing of the contract. The trainers will be deployed for the following classes and locations

Class Level: 10th- TGT Teachers (O level) & 12th- PGT Teachers (A level) teacher trainers

Educational Qualifications

Proficiency in teaching in Tamil & English is mandatory.
Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university (desirable).
Minimum 5 years of full-time relevant teaching experience is mandatory in the subject concerned for 10th (TGT) and 12th (PGT) level.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in providing training to teachers covering subject

The selected teacher trainers shall train the teachers of Sri Lanka in the respective subject
matter, curriculum, pedagogy, instructional strategies, classroom management, educational
technologies, etc.
