Eligibility & Experience Criteria

Candidates must meet both educational and professional experience standards to be eligible:

  • Educational Qualifications: * Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agriculture Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food & Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology, or Veterinary Sciences.

    • Degrees must be from a University established in India by law or an equivalent recognized institution.

  • Experience: * Minimum three years of experience in the analysis of food is mandatory.

    • Experience must be gained after the completion of the degree in a recognized institution or food testing laboratory.

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates.

Marking Protocol:

  • Correct Response: +4 Marks

  • Incorrect Response: -1 Mark (Negative Marking)

  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% to qualify for the Practical Exam.

Examination Fee & Centers

Fees are non-refundable and must be paid through the online payment gateway during registration.

  • CBT Fee: ₹2,500 + 18% GST.

  • Practical Exam Fee: ₹5,000 + 18% GST (Only for those who qualify the CBT).

  • Centers: The CBT will be conducted in major metropolitan cities across India. Exact center details will be mentioned on the admit card.
