Haryana CET Syllabus 2026 Selection Criteria

The selection process for Haryana CET Group C and D posts is straightforward and heavily relies on the candidate’s performance in the written examination. The criteria are divided into two main components:

  • Written Examination (95% Weightage): The offline OMR-based written test consists of multiple-choice questions covering general subjects, mathematics, languages, and Haryana-specific general knowledge.

  • Socio-Economic Criteria & Experience (5% Weightage): Candidates meeting specific socio-economic conditions or possessing relevant government work experience are awarded additional marks, making up the remaining 5% of the total score.

(Note: Group C posts typically require an additional Skill Test or Mains Exam depending on the specific job profile, whereas Group D posts are generally filled based directly on the CET score).

Haryana CET 2026 Exam Pattern

The Haryana CET exam comprises 100 objective-type questions. Candidates are given 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes) to complete the test.
