Pensioners of central, state, or other government organizations need to submit their life certificates every year to show that they are alive. A life Certificate is required by Pension Disbursing Agency to pay their pension without any interruption. By using Jeevan Pramaan PC/Mobile/Tablet application, pernsioner can generate their Life Certificate from their Mobile phone itself. They can Download PDF of the Digital Life Certificate, even it will be automatically submitted online to the linked PDA without any human interaction.
How Jeevan Praman works
Jeevan Pramaan uses the Aadhaar platform for pensioner biometric authentication. It is linked with Aadhaar-enabled biometric authentication mechanism to generate Digital Life Certificate. After the Successful Generation of DLC, it will be stored in the Life Certificate Repository, which they can access at any time to download in PDF format. Also, The Pension Disbursing Agencies can access the certificate directly online.
Where Jeevan Pramaan DLC can be Generated
Getting a digital Life certificate is hassle-free and can be obtained through various Jeevan Pramaan Centres operated by CSCs, Banks, and Government offices or by using the client application on any PC/mobile/tablet.
Pre-requisites for Generating DLC
For Existing pensioners
- Pensioner must have an Aadhaar number
- Pensioner must have an existing mobile number
- Registration of the Aadhaar number with pension disbursing agency (bank/ post office etc.) should be done already.
For First time pensioners
If the pensioner is new and he/she is not yet submitted their life certificate in early years, they need the following details for generating their DLC.

How to Generate Digital Life Certificate using Jeevan Pramaan Application
To generate DLC from Jeevan Pramaan Android Application, Pensioner must download two Applications on their Mobile phones. They are –
1, Jeevan Pramaan Android Application
2. AadhaarFaceRD Application
They need to Enrol in the Jeevan Pramaan Application by providing necessary information like an Aadhaar number and a linked Mobile number. For the first ask one of your family member or relative or friend to register as Operator on the Application by using their Aadhar details.
In the next Step, use Details of the pensioner and use Iris and authenticate them (Jeevan Pramaan uses the Aadhaar Platform for online biometric authentication )
After a successful authentication, an SMS acknowledgement is sent to your mobile number, including your Jeevan Pramaan Certificate ID. The certificates are stored in the Life Certificate Repository to make them available anytime and anywhere for the pensioner and the Pension Disbursing Agency.
How to Download Life Certificate PDF
pensioners can download a PDF copy of the certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website by providing the Jeevan Pramaan ID or Aadhaar number at any time.
What Happens After Generating Digital Life Certificate
The Pension Disbursing Agency can access the Life Certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website, and download the same.
