Exam Details (MAT & SAT)

The NMMS Maharashtra exam consists of two objective-type papers, each carrying 90 marks:

2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): Covers the school syllabus of Class 7 and Class 8, focusing on Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics.

Qualifying & Cut-off Marks

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must secure the minimum qualifying marks in both the MAT and SAT papers independently. The standard qualifying criteria are as follows:

• General/OBC Category: Minimum 40% marks in each paper (approx. 36 marks out of 90).

• SC/ST/PH Category: Minimum 32% marks in each paper (approx. 29 marks out of 90).

The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained, subject to the district-wise and category-wise quotas.

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the MSCE Pune NMMS website at 2025.mscenmms.in.

2. Locate the Link: On the homepage, look for the “NMMS 2025-26 Interim Answer Key” link under the ‘News/Notifications’ section.

3. Select Paper/Set: Click on the respective link for MAT or SAT.

4. Download PDF: The answer key for all sets (A, B, C, D) will open in a PDF format.

Objection Process

The MSCE Pune provides a window for students to raise objections if they find any discrepancies in the provisional answer key.

• Final Key: After reviewing all valid objections, the council will release a Final Answer Key, which will be used for calculating the official results.

What Next? (Result & Scholarship)

After the final answer key is released, the NMMS Maharashtra Result 2025-26 is expected to be announced in February 2026. Selected students from government, government-aided, and local body schools will receive a scholarship of ₹12,000 per annum (₹1,000 per month) from Class 9 to Class 12, provided they maintain the required academic standards.
