Education Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice:
- Must possess a Graduate degree in any stream (e.g., B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, B.E.) from a recognized university or institution.
- COPA Trade Apprentice:
- Must have passed the 10th class examination under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
- Should hold a COPA Trade Certificate issued by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).
Vacancy Details
The recruitment is divided into two main categories:
- Graduate Apprentice: 11 posts
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): 105 posts

- Minimum Age: 14 years

Selection Process
The selection process for the apprentice positions involves:
- Merit-Based Selection:
- For Graduate Apprentices, selection will be based on the percentage of total marks obtained in the degree examination.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate.
- Preference Criteria:
- Preference will be given to wards of MbPA employees. Separate merit lists will be prepared for these candidates.
- Document Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents at the Apprentice Training Centre (ATC), Bhandar Bhavan, 3rd floor, N.V. Nakhwa Marg, Mazgaon, Mumbai – 400 010.
- Medical Examination:
- Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination and provide a fitness certificate from the Port Authority Hospital.

- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Exempted from payment
