NICL Administrative Officer (Scale-I) Jobs: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must review the eligibility details below before applying for the NICL Recruitment 2025.
Nationality
- A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:—
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualifications
The candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as of 01.05.2025.
The minimum Educational Qualifications required for various disciplines are:

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years, as on 01.05.2025
i.e., a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1995 and not later than 01.05.2004 (both dates inclusive).

Salary Details
The starting Basic pay would be Rs. 50,925 /- in the scale of Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and such other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 90,000/- per month in Metropolitan Centres. Other benefits such as Pension under New Pension scheme governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. shall be as per rules in force in the Company at the time of appointment. The Officers are also entitled for Company’s / leased accommodation as per norms.
In addition to the above, Doctors (MBBS) appointed as Specialist Officers are eligible for Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) to the tune of 25% of the Basic Pay subject to conditions that may be applicable from time to time.

- Phase – II: Main Examination online
