The NPCIL Kakrapar Gujarat Site has announced a total of 337 apprenticeship vacancies for the 2026 training batch. These openings are systematically distributed among Trade Apprentices (ITI), Technician Apprentices (Diploma), and Graduate Apprentices (Degree), providing a substantial opportunity for diverse candidates to secure training at a premier nuclear power station.

NPCIL Kakrapar Apprentice Jobs 2026 Education Details

Candidates must possess full-time/regular educational qualifications from recognized boards or universities. The qualifications must have been acquired within the last 5 years from the application closing date.

• Trade Apprentice: Must hold a valid ITI Certificate in the respective trade.

• Technician Apprentice: Must have completed a 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering or technology stream.

• Graduate Apprentice: Must hold a Graduation Degree (B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, BA, B.Com, etc.) in the relevant engineering or general discipline.

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend throughout their 12-month training period in accordance with the Apprenticeship Rules:

• Trade Apprentice: Rs. 10,560 to Rs. 11,040/- per month (depending on whether it is a 1-year or 2-year ITI course).
• Technician Apprentice: Rs. 10,900/- per month.
• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- per month.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for all applicants is 18 years. The maximum age limit, calculated as of April 06, 2026, varies by post:

• Trade Apprentice: Up to 24/25 years.
• Technician Apprentice: Up to 25 years.
• Graduate Apprentice: Up to 26 years.

(Age relaxations are applicable: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates as per government norms).

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted strictly on a merit basis without any written examination. The stages include:

• Merit List Generation: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in their ITI, Diploma, or Degree examinations.

• Local Preference: Priority consideration will be given to candidates residing in neighboring villages within a 16 km radius of the Kakrapar Gujarat Site.

• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present their original educational and identity documents.

• Medical Examination: Final induction is subject to clearing the medical fitness parameters set by the competent authority.

3. Fill Details: Fill out the offline application form completely in block letters and affix a recent passport-size photograph.

4. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of your educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, and the respective portal registration copy.

5.
