Education Details
Candidates must ensure they meet the specific academic requirements before applying. Only full-time, regular mode qualifications obtained within the last 5 years are accepted.
- Graduate Apprentice: Must hold a 4-year B.E. / B.Tech degree in engineering (Mining, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) OR a 3-year General Degree (B.Sc Chemistry, B.Com, BBA, BCA) from a recognized university.
- Technician Apprentice: Must hold a 3-year regular Diploma in a relevant engineering branch. (Note: 1-year diplomas are not eligible).
Monthly Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend throughout their 1-year training period, funded jointly by SECL and the Government via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- per month
- Technician Apprentice: Rs. 10,900/- per month
Age Limit
Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of March 31, 2026. The official notification does not specify an upper age limit, provided the candidate’s degree or diploma was acquired within 5 years of the joining date.
