Education Qualification

The eligibility criteria vary based on the specific post applied for:

• Stipendiary Trainee (Cat-I): Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics, etc.) or B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry.

• Stipendiary Trainee (Cat-II): SSC (10th) with Science & Maths or HSC (12th) plus a valid ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

• Assistant Grade-1 (HR/F&A/C&MM): Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• X-Ray Technician: 12th pass (Science) with a Diploma or Certificate in Radiography.

Salary & Stipend

• Category-I Trainees: Monthly stipend of ₹24,000 (1st year) and ₹26,000 (2nd year). After training, candidates are appointed in Pay Level 6 (approx. ₹35,400 + allowances).

• Category-II Trainees: Monthly stipend of ₹20,000 (1st year) and ₹22,000 (2nd year). After training, candidates are appointed in Pay Level 3 (approx. ₹21,700 + allowances).

• Assistant Grade-1: Standard pay scale as per Pay Level 4 (approx. ₹25,500 + allowances).

Age Limit (As of 04 February 2026)

• ST/SA (Category-I): 18 to 25 Years.

• ST/TN (Category-II): 18 to 24 Years.

• Assistant Grade-1: 21 to 28 Years.

• Note: Age relaxations apply for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

The selection procedure includes the following stages:

1. Written Examination: Two stages for technical posts (Preliminary and Advanced Test).

2. Skill Test/Trade Test: For Technician and Stipendiary Trainee (Cat-II) posts.

3. Personal Interview: For Scientific Assistant and Assistant Grade-1 roles.
