This initiative aims to provide hands-on training and skill development opportunities to candidates in diverse technical and non-technical trades. The apprenticeship program spans 12 months, offering a stipend and valuable industry experience, though it does not guarantee permanent employment.

ONGC Apprentice Vacancy Details
Candidate to choose trade / location as per his / her choice subject to meeting all eligibility criteria (Education qualification, Age, Domicile, etc). However, in case application is submitted for more than one work centre / trade, apprenticeship will be allocated at one centre and for one trade only as per ONGC discretion.

Stipend Details
The apprentices are eligible for monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, during their period of engagement as follows:

Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 06.11.2025, i.e. the Date of Birth of the Candidate/Applicant should be between 06.11.2001 and 06.11.2007.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC)
Selection Process
Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on the merit drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination as stipulated in the advertisement. In case of a similar number in merit, a person with higher age would be considered. No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and may result in rejection of the candidature.
Reservation of positions will be followed as per Government of India Policy on SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.
