Education Details

  • Teacher Educator (Foundation): Post-Graduation Degree in Education/Philosophy/Sociology/Psychology (min 50%) and B.El.Ed/B.Ed./D.El.Ed (min 50%) or M.Phil./Ph.D. in Education.

  • Teacher Educator (Subjects): Post-Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks.

  • Physical Education Instructor: Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) with at least 50% marks.

  • Art Education Instructor: Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (Visual Arts) or Performing Arts (Music/Dance/Theatre) with minimum 50% marks.

  • Language Requirement: Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia fluently and have passed middle school or HSC with Odia as a language subject.

Salary

All selected candidates will be placed in the scale of pay of Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400. This corresponds to Level-9, Cell-1 of the ORSP Rules, 2017.

Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years.

  • Maximum Age: 42 Years.

  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SEBC, SC, ST, and all Women candidates; 10 years for PwD category candidates.

Selection Process

The competitive examination consists of three stages:

  1. Stage I (Preliminary Examination): 150 marks involving objective questions.

  2. Stage II (Main Written Examination): Technical paper(s) of 200 marks specific to the post.

  3. Stage III (Certificate Verification): Candidates numbering two times the vacancies will be called based on Main exam performance.

    Note: Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main exams.

  • General/SEBC Candidates: Rs. 500/-.

  • SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Exempted from the fee.

  • Refund Policy: The examination fee is refundable to those candidates who actually appear in the first stage of the recruitment examination.
