Vacancy Details

Education Details

To be eligible for the PSSSB Excise Inspector post, candidates must meet the following educational criteria:

• Degree: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or institution.
• Computer Qualification: A valid 120-hour computer course certificate with hands-on experience in office productivity applications or Desktop Publishing from an ISO 9001 certified institute OR a DOEACC ‘O’ Level Certificate.
• Language Requirement: Must have passed Punjabi at the Matriculation (10th) level.

Salary

Selected candidates will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

• Initial Pay: ₹35,400/- per month.
• Pay Level: Candidates will also be entitled to other allowances as per Punjab Government norms.

The age limit is calculated as of 01 January 2026:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

   • Part A: Punjabi Language Qualifying Test (Must score min. 50%).
