Education Qualification

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as on 01.01.2026:

  • Degree: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

  • Passing Year: The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 31.12.2025.

  • NATS Requirement: For candidates registered under NATS, the date of passing graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding 01.01.2026 (i.e., passed on or after 01.01.2022).

  • Local Language: Proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of the applied State/UT is mandatory.

Stipend

Engaged apprentices will receive a monthly stipend for the one-year contract period:

  • Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban Branches: Rs. 12,300/- per month.

  • Metro Branches: Rs. 15,000/- per month.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years

  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

  • Cut-off Date: As on 01.01.2026 (Born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006).

  • Relaxation:

    • SC/ST: 5 Years

    • OBC (NCL): 3 Years

    • PwBD: 10 Years

Selection Process

The selection procedure for PNB Apprentice 2026 includes:

  1. Online Written Test: Objective type test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.

  2. Test of Local Language: Candidates must prove proficiency in the local language (exempt if 10th/12th mark sheet evidences study of the language).

  3. Document Verification: Verification of eligibility and original documents.

  4. Medical Examination: Candidates must be declared medically fit.

  5. Update Codes: Login to https://beep.bfsissc.com and update your NAPS/NATS enrollment numbers.

  6. Pay Fee: Pay the requisite examination fee online.
