AP RGUKT IIIT 2025-26 Counselling Schedule Released

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Andhra Pradesh, will release a Notification for the First Phase of AP IIIT Admissions 2025-26. They have now released Counselling Schedule which is given in the table below. 

AP RGUKT CET Admissions 2025 Counselling Details

General Admission counseling will be held at both Nuzvid and R.K. Valley campuses from 30 June 2025. Candidates are still given the option for corrections in respect of category, including EWS, gender, and date of birth, even at the time of counselling, subject to verification of the original certificates. Candidates, therefore, need not worry about wrong entries in the CET application. Candidates can choose their preferred campus among the available options based on their rank and category at the time of counselling. The detailed schedule is given below.

ఆర్జీయూకేటీ (రాజీవ్‌ గాంధీ వైజ్ఞానిక సాంకేతిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం) పరిధిలోని నూజివీడు, ఇడుపులపాయ, శ్రీకాకుళం, ఒంగోలు ట్రిపుల్‌ఐటీల్లో 2025-2026 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో ప్రవేశాలు ప్రారంభం అయ్యాయి . 12వ తేదీ వరకు దివ్యాంగులు, క్రీడా, సైనిక సంతతి, ఎన్‌సీసీ విభాగాల అభ్యర్థుల ధ్రువపత్రాల పరిశీలన నూజివీడు ట్రిపుల్‌ఐటీలో ఉంటుంది. ఈ మేరకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేసినట్లు ప్రవేశాల కన్వీనర్‌ ఆచార్య ఎస్‌ఎస్‌ఎస్‌వీ గోపాలరాజు తెలిపారు.

ఈ నెల 30 నుంచి నూజివీడు, ఇడుపులపాయ క్యాంపస్‌ల్లో సాధారణ కౌన్సెలింగ్‌ ఏక కాలంలో నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఒక్కో ట్రిపుల్‌ఐటీలో 1100 సీట్ల చొప్పున (ఈడబ్ల్యూఎస్‌ కేటగిరీతో కలిపి) భర్తీ చేస్తారు. వాటిలో 85 శాతం సీట్లు ఆయా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల పరిధిలోని విద్యార్థులకు, 15 శాతం సీట్లు ఓపెన్‌ కేటగిరీలో భర్తీ చేస్తారు. ట్రిపుల్‌ఐటీలో సీటు సాధించిన విద్యార్థులు ఆరు సంవత్సరాల సమీకృత విద్య అభ్యసిస్తారు. అందులో రెండేళ్లు పీయూసీ, మిగిలిన నాలుగు సంవత్సరాలు ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ చదువుతారు.

ఫీజు వివరాలు:

పీయూసీ విద్యార్థులు సంవత్సరానికి రూ.45 వేలు, ఇంజినీరింగ్‌ విద్యార్థులు రూ.50 వేలు ఫీజు చెల్లించాలి. విద్యా దీవెన పథకానికి అర్హులైన వారు ఫీజు చెల్లించాల్సిన పనిలేదు. వసతి దీవెనకు అర్హులైన వారు, మంజూరైన నిధులు పోను మిగిలిన నగదు చెల్లించాలి. విద్యార్థులంతా కాషన్‌ డిపాజిట్‌ కింద రూ.2 వేలు చెల్లించాలి. అడ్మిషన్‌ ఫీజు కింద ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీలు రూ.1000, మిగిలిన వారు రూ.1500 కట్టాలి.

AP IIIT Counselling 2025 Rank Wise RGUKT CET Web Counselling Schedule

RGUKT CET-21 was held on 26-09-2025 at 467 centers in Andhra Pradesh and 8 centers in Telangana and a total of 70,131 candidates appeared for the examination. Results were declared by Hon’ble Minister for Education on 6th October, 2025.

Admission counselling for 4400 seats including 10% EWS supernumerary seats and for 5% NRI (candidates studied outside AP and Telangana) and global seats will be held in the month of November 2025. NRI and Global candidates need to submit their application during the counselling dates and seats will be filled as per the merit of the candidates in the 10th class or equivalent examination held in 2025. Certificate verification for Special category candidates (NCC, Sports, CAP and PH) will be held at Nuzvid campus from 8th to 12th November, 2025. The detailed schedule is given below.

Candidates under special category who could not submit their details in CET application can also attend verification process with relevant certificates. Candidates eligible for more than one special category can attend the verification process on any common date mentioned above which matches their special categories. General Admission counselling will be held at both Nuzvid and R.K Valley campuses from 22nd to 30th November, 2025. Candidates can attend either at Nuzvid campus or RK Valley campus for counselling get admission in any of the four campuses located in Nuzvid, RK Valley, Srikakulam and Ongole as per the schedule given below.

All above ranks are general merit ranks but not category ranks

Note :

1. Call for counseling does not guarantee admission as more number of candidates have been called for counseling under all categories to complete the counseling process in one phase.
2. Candidates are advised to visit the university website www.rgukt.in for category wise seat availability status on daily basis.
3. Candidates should report either to RK Valley Campus or Nuzvid Campus at the specified reporting date and time
4. Seats will be allotted based on the available reported candidates at the time of seat allotment. RGUKT is not responsible for late reporting.
5. Candidates claiming special categories (PH,CAP,NCC,Sports) and EWS are also eligible for admission under the general category basing on their relative merit
6. Special category admissions will be made separately after taking into consideration of the respective category merit submitted by the concerned departments and their decision is First.
7. Candidates who wish to claim reservation under BC, SC, ST, and EWS category need to produce relevant category certificates issued by the competent authority at the time of counselling.
8. If selected each candidate needs to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,500/- ( Rs.1000/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,500/- (Rs 3000/-in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.

RGUKT Admission Procedure

1. Admission to the two years PUC and four years B.Tech Program (2025-26) will be based on merit in the RGUKT CET 2025 converted in to GPA and
2. The rules/guidelines/regulations/recommendations issued by the Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time shall be followed for admissions with applicable reservation norms of the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.

RGUKT Selection Method

Admission to the two years PUC and four years B.The Tech Program (2025-26) will be based on merit, as determined by 10th Class Marks 2025, and guidelines issued by the Governing Council of RGUKT from time to time.

In case of a tie in the GPA , it will be resolved by following merit in the subject sequence:

• Higher grade in Mathematics,
• Higher grade in Physical Sciences,
• Higher grade in Biological Sciences,
• Elder candidate as per the Date of Birth,
• Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.

If the tie is resolved with any of the checks in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be considered.

Certificate Verification and Admission

The applicants should submit a print out copy of the RGUKT CET marks memo and rank card along with the following documents at the time of certificate verification and Admission. The proforma for the certificates mentioned below are given in Annexures.

List of Certificates Required for RGUKT Counselling 2025

Candidates should bring three photocopy sets of the following documents along with Original documents at the time of certificate verification.

1. RGUKT CET marks memo
2. RGUKT Rank Card
3. Hall Ticket of X standard (10th Class)
4. Residence certificate by those claiming Local category, (for details, see Annexure-II)
5. Residence certificate/service certificate of parents by those claiming Non-Local category (for details, see Annexure-III)
6. Proof of caste/community certificate (SC/ST/BC) in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under any of these categories, (for details, see Annexure-IV)
7. EWS certificate issued by the competent authority by those claiming reservation under EWS category
8. Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category, (for details, see Annexure – V)
9. Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category, (for details, see Annexure – VI)
10. NCC certificate by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure-VII).

• Hall ticket of 10th class or its equivalent
• RGUKT CET Marks Memo.
• Certificate showing the GPA of 10th class public examination, like SSC / CBSE / ICSE / NIOS.

Admission

• Admission to the two years PUC and four years B. Tech programme in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application and the original certificates/documents submitted by the candidate at the time of Certificate verification.
• Mere calling for certificate verification will not guarantee admission to the candidate.

Tuition Fee and Mess Charges

• The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Andhra Pradesh &Telangana states is Rs.45,000/- per annum for PUC program and Rs 50,000/- per annum for B.Tech program.
• Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments have to pay the balance fee after deducting the tuition fee received from the respective State governments from the annual fee of the RGUKT (Students whose parental annual income is below Rs.1.0 Lakh for non SC/ST category and below Rs.2.0 Lakh for SC/ST category and who fulfil the other conditions as per the latest Govt. Rules are eligible for fee reimbursement)
• Students should pay the full annual tuition fee to the University at the time of beginning of each academic year incase the Government deposits the reimbursement of tuition fee to the student/mother account directly.
• Students should pay the monthly mess charges to the university (approximately Rs.2500 to Rs.3000 per month)
• Every student has to pay a registration and group insurance fee of Rs.1,500/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), which is a total of.3,500/- (Rs 3000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.

RGUKT Rules of Reservation

• Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved for ‘local candidates’(Andhra Pradesh) and the remaining 15% of the seats are open to the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014. (See Annexure-I).
• The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

1. SC – 15%, ST – 6%, BC-A – 7%, BC-B – 10%, BC-C – 1%, BC-D – 7%, BC-E – 4%, Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3%, Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) – 2%, NCC -1% and Sports – 0.5%.

• A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of girl candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever girl candidates are available.
• In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are acceptable. For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. These reservations are applicable at state-level. Model proformas for certificates are given for all the above categories in Annexures V to VII.
• Games & Sports only will be considered under Sports & Games category in respect of GO.MS.NO.10 Dated: 15-7-2008 of Youth advancement Tourism & Culture (Sports) Department
• Any other reservation issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time shall be followed for admissions.
• Since the courses offered are technical in nature and require appropriate physical fitness, RGUKT reserves the right of rejecting the application of such candidates who are declared by the experts as physically unfit to pursue the course.

Annual Fee

1. The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Andhra Pradesh &Telangana states is Rs.36,000/- per annum( for PUC1 & PUC II) and Rs 40,000/- per annum(for four years of engineering)
2. Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments have to pay the balance fee after deducting the tuition fee received from the respective State governments from the annual fee of the RGUKT (Students whose parental annual income is below Rs.1.0 Lakh for non-SC/ST category and below Rs.2.0Lakh for SC/ST category and who fulfill the other conditions as per the latest Govt. Rules are eligible for fee reimbursement)
3. Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), that is a total of Rs.3,000/- (Rs 2,500/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
