RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 06/2026 Vacancy Details
The RRB has announced 3,477 tentative vacancies for various graduate-level Non-Technical Popular Categories. These roles span Pay Levels 5 and 6, offering diverse operational and commercial responsibilities across the Indian Railways network.

Education Details
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Graduation from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Additional Requirement: For specific clerical posts like Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist, candidates must also have typing proficiency in English or Hindi on a computer.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix under Level-5 (Basic Pay starting at ₹29,200) and Level-6 (Basic Pay starting at ₹35,400). Salaries will also include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and other perks as per railway rules.
Age Limit
- Age Range: Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years old as of 01.01.2027.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: 3 years for OBC-NCL, and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process
The recruitment will be finalized through a rigorous multi-stage selection procedure:
- First Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 1): A 100-mark objective screening test with 1/3 negative marking.
- Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT 2): A 120-mark objective test for shortlisted candidates.
- Skill Test: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for Station Masters, or Typing Skill Test (TST) for typist posts.
- Document Verification (DV).
- Medical Examination: As per the standards detailed in the full CEN.

- UR / OBC / EWS: ₹500/- (An amount of ₹400 will be refunded, minus bank charges, after appearing in CBT 1).
