The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. This year, the Santoor Scholarship will extend financial support to 1000 eligible girl students, across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Objectives of the Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Gender: Female students only.

• Geographical Location: Must be residents of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, or Chhattisgarh.

• Educational Background:

  • Completed Class 10 from a local government school.

  • Completed Class 12 from a government school or junior college in the academic year 2024–25.

• Course Enrollment: Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program (minimum 3 years) starting in the academic year 2025–26.

• Financial Support: ₹24,000 per annum to cover educational expenses.

• Renewable Assistance: The scholarship is renewable annually, provided the student maintains eligibility.

• Comprehensive Coverage: Funds can be utilized for tuition fees, hostel fees, mess charges, travel expenses, books, stationery, devices, data, and other education-related expenses.

• Identity Proof: Aadhar Card or Ration Card.

  • Class 10th marksheet (government school).

• Bank Details: Bank passbook copy (excluding Gramin bank passbooks).
