Education Details
Graduation: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience (as on 31.12.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.
Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the circle they are applying for.
Salary
The initial salary for an SBI CBO is highly competitive.
Basic Pay: ₹48,480/- (in the scale of ₹48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920).
Increments: Candidates will also be eligible for two advance increments for work experience of two years or more in the officer cadre.
Allowances: Officers are eligible for D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances as per rules.
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
Minimum Age: 21 years.
Maximum Age: 30 years.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) as per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three main stages:
Online Written Examination: Objective and Descriptive tests.
Screening: Applications and documents will be verified based on eligibility criteria.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
