SILVER CET 2026: Cluster University, Kurnool, has released an Admission notification for Silver Jubilee Government College, Kurnool, through SILVER CET 2026 for the Academic Year 2026-27. SILVERCET is the Online Entrance Exam conducted for Degree courses such as B.A. (Hons) and B.Com. Hons/B.Sc., Hons. Online Registrations for the Entrance Exam are accepted from 07 April to 07 May 2026. Students who have appeared for the Senior Intermediate Examination in March 2026 can Register Online through the official website at www.sjgckurnool.edu.in.

SILVER CET 2026: Eligibility
Students who have appeared for the Senior Intermediate Examination in March 2026, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., and Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana, or equivalent to Intermediate of A.P. & Telangana, are ONLY eligible to appear for the test, subject to the other conditions. The students who appeared for the Intermediate Instant Examinations in 2026 are not eligible for admission.
They should have passed the qualifying examination in one and first attempt in IPE – March, 2026 and should have secured 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in English subject (there is a relaxation of 5% in the case of SC / ST / BCs)
- For B.A., – all the students are eligible irrespective of subjects studied in Intermediate but they have to opt HISTORY, ECONOMICS and CIVICS in Online Entrance Test.
- For B. Com., – Students of CEC or any other group are eligible but they have to opt the ECONOMICS, COMMERCE – I, COMMERCE – II in Online Entrance Test.
- For B.Sc., courses students must have studied the respective subjects at Intermediate level – MATHEMATICS / BIOLOGY (BOTANY& ZOOLOGY), PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY.
Allotment of Seats
The seats available in the colleges are allotted in the ratio of 42:36:22 to the areas of erstwhile Andhra University, erstwhile Osmania University and erstwhile Sri Venkateswara University respectively as noted below according the earlier state level formation of districts.
SILVER CET 2026 Selection Process
Selection of students shall be made based on the following
- Merit in the Online Entrance Examination.
- Rule of reservation.
- Reservation under Special category.
- In case of a tie among candidates with the same marks in the Online entrance test, the order of merit will be decided as follows.
SILVER CET 2026: Exam Scheme and Syllabus
- The on-line examination will be in one session of 100 minutes duration in the subjects mentioned at table III.
- The examination will be conducted for 100 marks in Total. There will be three papers for 25 marks in each subject, in addition to an English paper for 25 marks. The English paper is common to all.
- The examination will be conducted for group subjects based on the Intermediate syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. Guntur).
- Questions will be in both English and Telugu media and in objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- There will be no negative marks for the wrong answer.
The on-line examination will be in one session of 100 minutes duration in the subjects mentioned at table
