Educational Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the specific educational criteria for their respective posts as on the closing date of the application:

Head Constable (Steward)	• 12th class pass from a recognized Board . • Diploma of duration of minimum two years in Catering and Kitchen management from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government . • Working experience of duration of minimum one year as a Steward in a minimum hundred bedded hospital or Institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Head Constable (Communication)	• 12th class in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board; OR • Should have a three years diploma in Electronics or Communications or Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised Institute.
Head Constable (Electrician)	• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board . • Two years work experience in respective trade; OR • One year certificate course from a recognised Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the respective trade; OR • Two years Diploma from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or similar trade . • Must qualify trade test.
Head Constable (Veterinary)	• 12th class pass with Science and Biology as main subject from a recognised Board . • Possess two years Diploma Course in Veterinary and Livestock Development or Veterinary Animal Husbandry Assistant Course from an institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.

Salary Details

Selected candidates for all the advertised Head Constable posts will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level-4.

Basic Pay: Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/-.
Allowances: The posts carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other allowances as admissible under government rules.

Age Limit

The age limit is determined as of the closing date for the receipt of applications.

Head Constable (Steward): 18 to 27 years.
Head Constable (Communication): 18 to 27 years.
Head Constable (Electrician): 18 to 25 years.
Head Constable (Veterinary): 18 to 27 years. (Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years, OBC candidates by 3 years, and other categories as per Government of India rules.)

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of multiple stages to evaluate the physical, mental, and medical fitness of the candidates:

Stage I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Qualifying tests involving a race and height/chest measurements.
Stage II: Written Examination: A 3-hour Computer-Based Test (CBT) carrying 150 marks (General Knowledge, Math, Reasoning, English/Hindi, and Technical Subjects).
Stage III: Skill Test: Applicable only for the post of Head Constable (Electrician), which is qualifying in nature (50 marks).
Stage IV: Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination: Verification of all original certificates followed by a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) if required.

Application Fee

UR, EWS, and OBC Category Candidates: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) to be paid online via net-banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and Female Candidates: Exempted from fee payment.
