SVIMS UG Admissions 2026–27: Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, a premier university established under the aegis of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), has released its official prospectus for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2026–27. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates seeking admission into B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.PT), and various Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (AHS) programs.

To secure admission into SVIMS UG medical courses, candidates must satisfy the following academic and age limits:

Educational Qualifications

• Academic Stream: Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or any other recognized board (AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/APOSS).

• Mandatory Subjects: Applicants must have cleared Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Bi.P.C. group), and English individually.

• Entrance Exam Requirement: Candidates must have secured a valid rank in the AP EAPCET-2026 examination.

Age Limit

• Applicants must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026 (i.e., born on or before December 31, 2009).

• Note: Candidates aged 25 years and above are required to submit a self-declaration form (Annexure-V) at the time of joining.

Selection Methodology

Admissions are strictly granted based on the AP EAPCET-2026 rank. In the event of a tie in ranks, preference will be given to the older candidate based on their SSC certificate date of birth.

How to Apply & Registration Fees

The application form is common for all the undergraduate courses listed in the prospectus. A single online application is sufficient.

Application & Web-Counselling Fee

The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid online using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or through an AP Online Center:

• OC Category: Rs. 2,596/- (Rs. 2,200 + 18% GST)

• BC / SC / ST Categories: Rs. 2,077/- (Rs. 1,760 + 18% GST)

• Note: Bank and user service charges are extra.

Reservation Policy

SVIMS follows standard constitutional and local area reservation guidelines:

• Local Area Reservation: 85% of the total seats are strictly reserved for local candidates belonging to the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) region (covering districts like Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, YSR Kadapa, Annamayya, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, and Sri Sathya Sai). The remaining 15% seats are unreserved and open to both local and non-local categories as per state regulations.

• SC Sub-classification: In compliance with the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes (Sub-classification) Ordinance 2025, the 15% SC reservation is partitioned into Group I (1%), Group II (6.5%), and Group III (7.5%).

• Special Categories: A 10% quota is reserved for the children and permanent employees of TTD/SVIMS. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) receive a 5% horizontal reservation.

Fee Structure (First Year)

Selected candidates must pay the institutional fees during the counselling process. The first-year fee details for B.PT, B.Sc. Nursing, and Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences are broken down as follows:

• University Fee: Rs. 5,500/- (To be paid online while downloading the provisional allotment letter)
• One-Time Admission Fee (Part A): Rs. 3,900/-
• Annual Institutional Fee (Part B): Rs. 38,500/- (Includes Tuition fee of Rs. 35,500, Library, Sports, Student Welfare, and Medical expenses)
• Caution Deposit: Rs. 500/- (Refundable after course completion)
• Total First-Year Fee Payable: Rs. 47,900/-

Government of Andhra Pradesh scholarship schemes are applicable for eligible SC, ST, BC, EBC, EWS, and minority candidates as per dynamic state rules.
