TGMREIS Study Circle UPSC Civils-2027 Free Coaching: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination is one of the most competitive exams in the country. To support aspirants from minority communities, the Telangana Minorities Study Circle & Career Counselling Centre, Hyderabad, working under the Minorities Welfare Department, has released a detailed notification. They are organizing free in-house coaching for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims cum Mains – 2027. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for eligible minority candidates from Telangana State to prepare for the academic year 2026-2027.

The administration aims to provide top-tier guidance to 100 selected candidates. The admission is strictly based on merit through a state-level screening test.

TNREIS Study Center: Facilities Provided
To ensure that financial constraints do not hinder preparation, the Telangana Minorities Study Circle provides a comprehensive learning environment. Selected students will have access to:
A fully digitalized class room.
A well-equipped library.
High-speed internet and Wi-Fi facility.
Accommodation is also preferably provided, which is currently under consideration.
Telangana Minorities UPSC Civils Free Coaching Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must carefully review the eligibility requirements before applying:
Students must belong to Minority Communities, specifically Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, and Parsi.
Applications are restricted to candidates from all districts of Telangana State only.
Aspirants must be graduates who possess a minimum three years Bachelor Degree (like B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.) or a four-year course (like B.Tech., B.Pharm., B.Sc. Ag. etc.).
The annual income of the Parent, Guardian, or Family must not exceed Rs. 5.00 lakhs per annum. This must be verified by an Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar of the Revenue Department in their respective Mandal.
Aspirants must not be employed or pursuing any other courses in any educational institutions during the 2026-27 academic year.
Candidates should not have availed of any similar Government-sponsored Civil Service coaching elsewhere.
Aspirants must be eligible as per the standard norms prescribed by the UPSC for appearing in the Civil Services Exam.
Reservation Policy: The program follows a strict rule of reservation, allocating 33.33% of seats to women candidates and 5% to physically challenged persons within all reserved categories.
Screening Test Pattern and Syllabus
Selection is purely on a merit basis through a Screening Test consisting of Objective and Descriptive questions. The test will be conducted for 100 marks with a duration of two hours, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Part-A (Objective Type): Consists of 70 questions carrying 1 mark each, totaling 70 marks. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer.
Part-B (Descriptive Type): Contains 4 descriptive questions, out of which candidates must attend 2. Each answer carries 15 marks, totaling 30 marks.
Syllabus Covered: The examination syllabus includes Current events of National and International importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change, General Science, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical reasoning.

Examination Guidelines and How to Apply
The Screening Test will be held at Telangana Minorities Residential Schools located in the headquarters of all districts.
- Candidates must reach the examination center well in advance, on or before 09:30 AM on 14-06-2026, to complete formalities.
- No candidates will be allowed inside the hall after 10:30 AM.
- Aspirants must bring their own Blue and Black ball pens.
