The Higher Education Council officially announced the seat allotment for the second phase of the Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) on May 30. According to DOST Convener Balakista Reddy, a total of 52,302 candidates successfully secured seats in this round. The second phase witnessed 46,504 fresh registrations. Additionally, students who had already secured seats in the first phase participated in this round, aiming to upgrade to better courses and colleges.
Including both new applicants and those seeking upgrades, a total of 60,439 candidates exercised their web options. Highlighting the current trends in academic preferences, the Convener noted that the Commerce stream emerged as the top choice, with a maximum of 21,431 students securing admissions in this discipline.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the second phase must confirm their admissions to retain them. through Self Reporting from May 31 to June 5
Authorities strongly advise students to complete the online self-reporting process within this window to officially reserve their seats.
