Education Details

Aspirants must satisfy the essential academic qualifications on or before the official notification release date (02/06/2026):

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from an Indian University incorporated under a Central Act, Telangana State Act, or an institution duly recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

• OR must hold an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E.) certification in Civil Engineering.

• Note on Distance Education: Degrees finished via Open Universities or external learning platforms must carry explicit registration/recognition from UGC, AICTE, or the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) to stand valid.

Salary

Candidates chosen for the position of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) will be assigned an official remuneration structural pay scale ranging from Rs. 54,220 to Rs. 1,33,630/- along with standard local state department allowances.

Age Limit

The evaluation of age is strictly fixed and reckoned as on 01/07/2026:

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years (Aspirants must not be born after 01/07/2008).

• Maximum Age Limit: 44 Years (Aspirants must not be born before 02/07/1982).

Note: The general upper age boundary contains a built-in relaxation extension of 10 years (initially 34 years raised to 44 years) per valid state government mandates.

• SC / ST / BCs & EWS Candidates: 5 Years

• Physically Handicapped (PwD) Persons: 10 Years

• Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 Years (allotted on the basis of active regular service length; corporate or municipal workers are excluded)

• Ex-Servicemen / N.C.C. Instructors: 3 Years plus the actual length of service rendered in the armed forces or NCC

Selection Process

The dynamic selection mechanism executes objective stages to finalize selections:

• Written Test: An objective type examination structured across Paper-I (General Studies and General Abilities) and Paper-II (Civil Engineering Degree Level). The test can be completed via an offline OMR-based model or a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).

• Normalization Scoring: For multi-session computer tests, the commission applies a normalization template calculated up to five decimal places to neutralize difficulty variances.

• Merit List: Final selection is strictly compiled from cumulative scores obtained in the examination following appropriate qualifying baselines (40% for OC/Sports/EWS, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs/STs/PH).
