Educational Qualifications

• OR candidates who have successfully qualified in Sections A and B of the AMIE (India) Civil Examination are eligible.

• OR candidates holding a B.Tech/B.E. degree in any engineering branch along with a Postgraduate (PG) Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.

• Note: Degrees completed through Distance Education modes must strictly hold structural approvals from UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

Salary

Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer will receive an attractive pay package with a structured salary scale of Rs. 54,220 – 1,33,630/- per month alongside other standard state government allowances.

Age Limit

The calculation of age limits is evaluated systematically as on 01/07/2026.

• Minimum Age: 18 years (Candidate must not be born after 01/07/2008).

• Maximum Age: 44 years (Candidate must not be born before 02/07/1982).

Note: The maximum age cap features a raised concession of 10 years (from 34 years to 44 years) implemented via latest state orders.

Upper Age Relaxations

The upper age ceiling allows variations across specific categories as designated below:

• SC / ST / BCs & EWS Candidates: 5 Years

• Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years plus total length of defense service rendered
