TNUSRB Sub-Inspector Jobs: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the details of Eligibility below before applying for TNUSRB Recruitment 2025.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by UGC / Government on or before the date of Notification.
The Bachelor’s Degree should have been obtained in the following patterns: –
After completion of SSLC and Higher Secondary course in the order of 10+2+3 / 4 / 5 pattern
or
After completion of SSLC and Diploma in the order of 10+3+2 / 10+3+3 pattern
or
After completion of SSLC and 2 years ITI in the order of 10+2+3 pattern.
Note: Candidates who have passed 10th standard directly without studying 9th standard or passed 12th standard directly without studying 11th standard are not eligible.
Age Limit
The Candidates must have completed the age of 20 years and must not have completed the age of 30 years as on 01.07.2025 (must have born on or after 02.07.1995 and on or before 01.07.2005). The upper age limit relaxation given to certain categories are as follows:

Salary Details
Selected candidates will get Rs. 36,900 – 1,16,600/- from the organization.
Selection Process
The candidates will be selected based on performance in Tamil Language Eligibility Test, Main Written Examinatio, CV, PMT, ET & PE.

Application Fee
Open or Departmental Quota Examination fee is Rs.500/-. If a Departmental Candidate applies for both Open Quota and Departmental Quota he / she should pay a sum of Rs.1000/- as Examination fee. It shall be paid only through Online payment.
How to Apply
- Candidates can apply online only through TNUSRB official website www.tnusrb.tn.gov.in Any other mode / form of application will be summarily rejected.
- The candidates should have their own e-mail ID and mobile number while filling the Online application which should be used for the entire application / recruitment process.
- The candidate should furnish his / her jurisdiction Police Station in the online application for Character and Antecedents Verification.
