The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), Hyderabad, has released the official admission notification for the academic year 2026-27 for Secondary School Certificate (SSC / 10th) and Intermediate (10+2) open schooling courses. TOSS offers flexible, high-quality distance education that is legally recognized as equivalent to formal school boards under G.O. Rt. No. 723 (SSC) and G.O. Ms. No. 170 (Intermediate) for candidates who wish to continue or complete their education. Eligible candidates seeking open schooling opportunities across Telangana can complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) and submit application forms online via the official portal or designated MeeSeva / TGOnline centers.

Age Requirements for SSC and Intermediate

SSC (Class 10th)

• Minimum Age: Candidate must have completed 14 years of age as of 31st August 2026.

• Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for enrollment.

• Minimum Educational Qualification: No formal educational qualification is required; self-declaration of reading/writing ability and capacity to study Class 10 is accepted.

Intermediate (Class 12th)

• Minimum Age: Candidate must have completed 15 years of age as of 31st August 2026.

• Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for enrollment.

• Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed SSC (Class 10th) or equivalent from a board recognized by COBSE.

SSC (Class 10th) Fee Structure

• Registration Fee: ₹150/-

• Admission Fee (Up to 5 Subjects):

  • General Category (Male): ₹1,400/-

  • Concessional Categories (SC / ST / BC / Minorities / Women / Transgenders / Differently Abled / Ex-Servicemen): ₹1,000/-

• Additional Subject Fee: ₹200/- per subject

• Admission Late Fee: ₹100/-

• Transfer of Credit (TOC) Fee: ₹200/- per subject

Intermediate (Class 12th) Fee Structure

• Registration Fee: ₹300/-

• Admission Fee (Up to 5 Subjects):

  • General Category (Male): ₹1,500/-

  • Concessional Categories (SC / ST / BC / Minorities / Women / Transgenders / Differently Abled / Ex-Servicemen): ₹1,200/-

• Additional Subject Fee: ₹300/- per subject

• Admission Late Fee: ₹200/-

• Transfer of Credit (TOC) Fee: ₹300/- per subject

Note: An additional user charge of ₹25/- is applicable for online applications processed via TGOnline centers. Admission fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

How to Apply Online for TOSS SSC & Inter

• Step 1: Fill Specimen Application Form — Download the official prospectus and fill out two sets of specimen application forms (Original and Duplicate) with accurate personal details.

• Step 2: Verification at Study Centre — Present the completed specimen application form to your chosen Accredited Institution (AI) Study Centre Coordinator for verification and signature.

• Step 3: Online One-Time Registration (OTR) — Access the official TOSS website (www.telanganaopenschool.org) or visit a nearby TGOnline / MeeSeva center.

• Step 4: Upload Required Details & Files — Enter student details (ensuring name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth match official certificates exactly), Aadhaar number, and active mobile number. Upload a passport-size color photograph (50 KB–100 KB in JPG/JPEG/PNG format) and signature (30 KB–50 KB).

• Step 5: Pay Application Fee — Complete the online payment of registration and admission fees using the available payment gateways.

• Step 6: Submit Hard Copies — Obtain the printout of the online application form and fee receipt. Physically submit one original and two photocopies along with necessary documents (Date of Birth proof/TC, Caste certificate, Residence certificate, or TOC memos) to the AI Study Centre Coordinator within two working days for final confirmation.
