Vacancy Details

Engineers India Limited is recruiting experienced engineers for various disciplines including Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation. A total of 41 positions are available, distributed between Grade II and Grade III roles depending on the candidate’s post-qualification experience.

Education Details

To be eligible for the EIL Associate Engineer recruitment, candidates must meet the following educational criteria as of May 31, 2026:

• Candidates must possess a B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc (Engg.) degree in the relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environment, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Metallurgy/Materials).
• The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPI in their qualifying educational degree.

Experience Requirement: Applicants for Grade II posts need a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. For Grade III posts, candidates must have at least 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Salary

The remuneration is consolidated monthly and varies based on the posting location (category of city):

• Associate Engineer Grade II: Rs. 80,000 (X Category Cities), Rs. 76,000 (Y Category Cities), Rs. 72,000 (Z Category Cities).

• Associate Engineer Grade III: Rs. 96,000 (X Category Cities), Rs. 91,200 (Y Category Cities), Rs. 86,400 (Z Category Cities).

• Other Benefits include medical insurance reimbursement, GPAI scheme coverage, out-of-pocket expenses for extra working hours, and paid leave.

Age Limit

• Associate Engineer Grade II: The upper age limit is 37 years as on 31.05.2026.

• Associate Engineer Grade III: The upper age limit is 41 years as on 31.05.2026.

• Age Relaxations: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10 years for PwD-General/EWS candidates. Ex-servicemen are also eligible for age relaxation.

Selection Process

• Screening: Candidates’ applications and original certificates will be screened on the day of the interview to verify their eligibility. Only those who meet all eligibility requirements will proceed.

• Personal Interview: Eligible candidates must appear for a walk-in personal interview. The interviews will be conducted in Gurugram, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Vadodara, and the exact venue details will be emailed to registered candidates.
