TG TET Answer Key 2026 Date
Unlike previous years, when the answer key was released within 48 hours of the exam, this session has a 10-day delay. The Preliminary Key will be available for download starting January 30th. Along with the key, candidates will also be able to access their individual Response Sheets, allowing them to cross-check their marked answers against the official key.
Objection Process
Candidates who find discrepancies in the preliminary key can raise objections online.2 The window for submitting objections will remain open for three days:

Exam Analysis & Attendance Statistics
The TG TET 2026 saw high levels of competition and participation. Out of 2,37,754 registered candidates, 1,95,181 appeared for the exam, resulting in an overall attendance of 82%.
Category-Wise Breakdown:
- In-Service Teachers: A remarkable 90% attendance was recorded, with 65,605 teachers appearing out of 72,673 applicants.
- General Candidates (Unemployed): Recorded 78% attendance, with 1,29,576 appearing out of 1,65,081 applicants.
Paper-Wise Attendance:
- Paper 1 (Primary): 71,198 candidates appeared.
- Paper 2 (Maths & Science): 69,861 candidates appeared.
- Paper 2 (Social Studies): 54,122 candidates appeared.

Once the link is active on January 30th, follow these steps:
- Visit the official TG TET website.
- Click on the link “TG TET 2026 Preliminary Answer Key & Response Sheet”.
- Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.
- Download the PDF and compare your responses.
- If you find any errors, use the “Objection Link” to submit your challenge before February 1st.
