UCEED CEED 2023 Notification has been Released and the Application Process will run on the official Website from. IIT Bombay is responsible to conducted the UCEED 2023. Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). UCEED 2022 score is valid only for admission to the academic year 2023.  The Vision of IIT Bombay is to be the fountainhead of new ideas and of innovators in technology and science. UCEED is a national Level Exam conducted every year to offer admission into the B.Des programme. All the candidates who are qualified in the UCEED 2023 can get admission in applied course. Aspirants should read the notification carefully before applying for the UCEED 2023. UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year. UCEED 2023 will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, under the guidance of the UCEED–CEED Implementation Committee 2023 (henceforth referred as the UCI Committee). UCEED 2022 score is valid only for admission to the programmes in the academic year 2023

UCEED 2023 Eligibility

• Both Indian and Foreign nationals cam apply
• A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times
• The candidate should have passed the Class XII or equivalent in 2019, or appearing in 2022. Students from all streams such as Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities are eligible.
• Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2018 or earlier are Not eligible.

The candidate should have passed in all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2023, OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2022 in order to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2023. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class XII) in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible.

UCEED  2023 Age Limit

• OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category – candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1997
• SC, ST or PwD category – candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1992

UCEED 2023 Exam Centers

UCEED 2023 will be held in the following 24 cities in India only:
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Panaji, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Visakhapatnam.

Number of attempts:

A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.

• Female Candidates (all categories) – Rs 1750
• SC, ST, PwD Candidates – Rs 1750
• All Other Candidates – Rs 3500

Foreign Nationals :

• Candidates from SAARC countries – USD 350
• Candidates from Non-SAARC countries – USD 450

How to Apply for UCEED 2023

• Visit the official Website of IIT Bombay i.e. uceed.iitb.ac.in
• Click on New Registration page
• Enter the Valid Email ID, phone number and Other details
• Click on Submit
• A email is received with login details
• Login with the Registration number and Password received
• Fill the application form with relevant details
• Upload the required Scanned documents such as Photograph, Signature and Other documents
• Check the details once again, Click on Submit
• Save the application form and Take a printout of it for future reference.

UCEED 2023 Exam Pattern

Part A –  Total marks: 240 marks; Maximum time: 2 hours 30 mins

• Section 1: NAT :18 questions (4 marks each; no negative marks). For these questions, the answer is a number that needs to be entered using a virtual keyboard in the computer screen. No choices will be shown for these questions.
• Section 2: MSQ ): 18 questions (4 marks each; 0.19 negative marks). Each MSQ has one or more correct answer(s) out of the four given choices.
• Section 3: MCQ : 32 questions (3 marks each; 0.71 negative marks). Each MCQ has four choices out of which only one is the correct answer

Part B – Total marks: 60 marks; Maximum time: 30 mins

• The question in Part-B will be displayed on the computer screen and the answer has to be written/drawn in the answer book provided by the invigilator only.
• Part-B question is mandatory

UCEED Admit Card 2023

Candidates whose registration is complete in all aspects will be able to download the admit card of UCEED 2023 from the registration portal (www.uceed.iitb.ac.in) from the date specified below. The admit card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, UCEED registration ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2023, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to candidates. Candidates should carefully examine the entries in the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, contact the Chairman JEE (Advanced), UCEED & CEED 2023 at IIT Bombay before the specified date via email mentioned in the registration portal. UCEED  Result 2023

UCEED Results 2023 will be declared on 9th March 2023. UCEED results will be available on the website. Candidates need to use their user login and password (created during registration process) for viewing the results on the web page. UCEED qualified students will be able to download their score cards from March 09, 2023. Hard copy of the UCEED score card will not be available and hence will not be sent to the qualified candidates. Obtaining a rank in UCEED 2023 does not guarantee admission to the B. Des programme.
