The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET Admit Card 2025 on June 23, 2025. According to the Official Notification, the UGC NET 2025 exam for the June 2025 session will be conducted from June 25 to 29, 2025. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download the Hall Ticket from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Examination Schedule of UGC – NET June 2025
Earlier, NTA has released the UGC NET June 2025 city intimation slip on June 18, 2025. UGC NET city intimation slip will have the Details of the examination city and the Center allotted to the candidate. This will be helpful to applicants in planning their travel and making necessary arrangements in advance.

UGC NET June 2025 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges. Candidates who are qualified in both the Papers of UGC NET 2025 are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. If the Candidate qualifies in RJF, they can then apply for the position of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship.
The National Testing Agency will Conduct the University Grant Commission National Eligibility test on behalf of the UGC. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours). The exam will be conducted in OMR (Pen & Paper), mode. The test will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers.
UGC NET Exam Pattern
- UGC NET 2025 would be conducted for a duration of 3 hours
- The exam would be held for 2 papers
- Paper I would consist of 50 marks, and it would consist of 100 questions
- Similarly, Paper 2 would consist of 100 questions, and it would be for 200 marks
The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in two separate sessions as under:
How to Download the UGC NET Admit Card 2025
- Visit the Official Website of NTA i.e. ntanet.nic.in
- Home Page will Appear on the Screen
- Select the Link to Download the UGC NET Admit Card
- Enter the Required Details such as Registered Number & Date of Birth/Password
- Submit the Details
- UGC NET Hall Ticket 2025 will be displayed on the Screen
- Download the Admit Card and Take a Printout of it for future Reference.
Candidates should check the details presented on the Admit Card, such as the Candidate’s name, Date of Birth, Father’s name, Gender, Name of the Exam center, Address of the Examination Center, Date and Time of the Exam, Reporting Time, and General Instructions to the Candidate. Candidates should carry a Hard Copy of the their Admit Card, original Photo Identity proof, and a Blue or Black Ballpoint Pen to the Examination Hall.
