Cutoff and Pass Percentage Details
To pass the compartment exam, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject, including both theory and practical papers.
In the main 2025 board exams, the pass percentages were approximately 90.77% for Class 10 and 83.23% for Class 12. These figures show that most students performed well, while the compartment exams serve as a fair chance for those who need improvement.
Exam and Result Details
The compartment exams are meant for students who failed in one or two subjects during the main examination.
These exams are typically held within two months after the main results are announced.
For 2025, Class 10 exams were conducted from July 18 to July 22, and Class 12 exams took place in early July.
The compartment results are expected to be released online in August 2025.
Students will receive marksheets that show subject-wise scores, total marks, and their pass/fail status.
The results can also be accessed through SMS or DigiLocker, in addition to the official website.
