Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) was founded in 1984 as a self-financing institution under the UGC Act. In the Academic Year 2025-26, VIT offers 71 Undergraduate, 37 Postgraduate and 13 integrated (UG/PG) programmes. At Present, VIT has four campuses in India.
