Previously university had examined during November/December 2016. The candidates can get results from results.vtu.org.in. Students can also prefer www.vtu.ac.in for getting official notifications about results.
The university had organized nov/dec examinations, (odd) semester, students. The validation of answer scripts is going on, soon we will update more news about vtu results.
In case the candidate is not satisfied with the obtained marks, then he/she can apply for revaluation. The date for revaluation will be updated after results are published from results.vtu.ac.in.
If results are published, students can enter the register number from here and view the results. Or candidates can also visit results.vtu.ac.in and enter their seat number. Most of the time the results will be published according to regions and semesters. This time university will publish (odd) semester results IE. 1st 3rd 5th and 7th semesters. The result data is being uploaded into vtu servers, students can get access to results after the completion of uploading process. As this process completes university will immediately declare results. But most of the time results cannot be accessed instantly, so students have to wait 4 to 5 hours after publishing results.

About Visvesvaraya Technological University
VTU: There are, 97 engineering colleges affiliated to VTU. 57 colleges come under the Bangalore Region, while the Mysore Region has 18 colleges, the Belgaum region has 13 colleges, and the Gulbarga region has 9 colleges. The university offers 24 graduate courses (B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch.), 39 Postgraduate courses(M.Tech.), and other courses like M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Sc.(Engineering) by Research and Ph.D. programmes.At present, every year, nearly 30,000 students can take admission in the Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech./B.Arch.) programmes and about 1,000 students can take admission for M.Tech., about 1,600 for M.C.A. and around 585 for M.B.A. programmes. The Government of Karnataka has been kind enough to allot 115 acres of land at Machche about 10 km away to the south-west of Belgaum city for the use of this university. A Master Plan, as per the requirement of the university has been finalised and Phase-I of construction work at a total cost of Rs.15 crores has commenced. During Phase-I, an Administrative Building, Library Building, Computer Centre, Regional Office, Market Square, Guest House and PG Blocks, are being built.
Teachers’ Training Programme for Staff of Engineering Colleges affiliated to VTU will be conducted by Board for IT Education Standards (BITES) in association with Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore(iiit-b) and VTU, Belgaum. The Courses include Networking (1-14 Oct 2016), Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (16-21 Oct 2016), Database Systems (12-16 Nov 2016), and Networking (11-24 Dec 2016).
