WBPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2025 Judicial Service Exam

A detailed advertisement is issued by the Public Service Commission, West Bengal in continuation with earlier indicative advertisement no. 19/2023, dated 28/12/2023.The Commission will hold the West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2023 in accordance with the existing rules for recruitment to the posts in West Bengal Judicial Service. The necessary particulars are stated in the following paragraphs. A candidate should verify from the notified rules that he/she is eligible for admission to the examination. The conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed.

Educational Qualifications

Aspirants who apply for Civil Judge Jobs must pass LLB from the Recognized Board/University. Other Details of Education can get from the Notification Link attached below this Article

Age Limit

Not less than 23 years and not more than 35 years on the date of advertisement for the examination on 28.12.2023 (i.e.born not earlier than 29.12.1988 and not later than 28.12.2000).

1. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates of West Bengal and upto 45 years of age for Persons with Disabilities having physical disability of 40% and above and by 2 years for candidates who have been in Government service for at least two years.
2. The claim of a candidate for relaxation of age as a Government employee should be proved by a certificate from the appointing authority showing the period of his/her continuous service under Government and the same should be produced on demand.
3. Age as recorded only in Madhyamik or equivalent certificate will be accepted.

Salary Details

Selected Candidates will Get a Salary of Rs.27,700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770/- (Pre-revised) as Per the Regulations of WBPSC

Application Fee

Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred ten only ) plus service charges wherever applicable through online mode only. SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. OBC candidates are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. NO EXEMPTION OF FEE IS AVAILABLE TO SC & ST CANDIDATES OF OTHER STATES. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained, nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
