BHEL Artisan Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have passed Class X along with a National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade.
A minimum of 60% marks is required for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST candidates must secure at least 55% marks in both NTC/ITI and NAC.
Desirable: Knowledge of the regional language for units located in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, and Hindi for other units.
BHEL Artisan Age Limit (as on October 1, 2026)
General/EWS: Up to 27 Years
OBC (NCL): Up to 30 Years
SC/ST: Up to 32 Years
Age relaxations up to 7 years may be granted based on relevant work experience. PWD/Ex-Serviceman relaxations will apply as per Government Rules.
Selection Process
The primary selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), which is tentatively scheduled for December 2026.
The CBT for all vacancies across all manufacturing units will be held on the same day.
