HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering) Recruitment 2026: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a prestigious Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has released a notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for the 2026-27 session. The recruitment drive aims to fill positions across its Marketing Division’s vast network of refineries, zonal offices, and aviation service stations spread across India. Vacancy Details

HPCL has announced a total of 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainee vacancies distributed across various states and Union Territories. Applicants must carefully review the available state-wise training slots, as they are permitted to select only one preferred state for their training during the application submission.

Education Details

• Candidates must hold an Engineering Graduation degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation streams.

• Applicants must have completed their Engineering Graduation on or after 01-04-2023.

• Candidates who completed their degree prior to 01-04-2023 are strictly not eligible.

• Unreserved (UR) and OBC-NC candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks across all semesters/years.

• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

• Registration and approval on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) web portal by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) is mandatory.

Salary

Selected Graduate Apprentice Trainees will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-. Out of this total amount, Rs. 20,500/- will be paid directly by HPCL, and the remaining Rs. 4,500/- will be credited to the apprentices by the Government of India through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years as of 02-03-2026.

• Maximum Age: 25 years as of 02-03-2026.

• Age Relaxations: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NC candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
