Education Details

• Medical Consultant (GDMO): Candidates must possess a recognized MBBS degree from an institute or university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC).

• Medical Consultant (Specialist): Candidates must hold an MBBS degree along with a recognized Post Graduate Degree or Diploma (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty from an Institute recognized by MCI/NMC.

Salary

• General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): ₹85,000/- per month (Consolidated Remuneration)
• Specialist Medical Consultant: ₹1,05,000/- to ₹1,25,000/- per month (Consolidated Remuneration, varying based on the specialty and candidate’s experience level)

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Candidates should not exceed the age of 65 years as of the official notification date (22 May 2026). Age relaxations are applicable as per standard Government of India norms for reserved categories.
